Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and experienced security officer to join our team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in the heart of London, near St Paul’s. This role offers an opportunity to provide security services in a luxurious environment while contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises (interior and exterior)
- Maintain a visible presence in the lobby
- Assist hotel management with security-related tasks
- Collaborate with other security officers to ensure seamless coverage
- Enforce hotel rules and maintain order
- Respond to fire alarms and participate in emergency response procedures
- Handle the removal of unauthorized individuals
- Provide first-aid support
- Document daily activities and incidents
- De-escalate guest concerns and resolve noise complaints
- Escort guests upon request
- Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor
Requirements:
- Strong security background and experience dealing with conflict
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
- Smart and well-presented appearance (black suit, white shirt, black tie, formal shoes)
- Valid SIA Security Licence
