Agreement for the Deduction of Monies
I agree that should the following be incurred, The company or a nominated agent of company will make deductions of costs incurred, including VAT and administration costs from my wages.
- This is a binding written term of your contract of employment in compliance with section 1 of the Wages Act 1986.
- Costs of uniform or equipment issued to me but not returned at request of the company or a nominated agent within 14 days of the request being made, verbally or in writing.
- If my employment is terminated by myself or the company for any reason within the probationary period. Then an amount, equal to costs incurred, may be deducted from my final salary/pay to recoup the cost of uniform issued.
- The cost of any unauthorised calls made by me from any communication device belonging to the company or its client.
- The cost of any damage cause to property belonging to the company or its client due to abuse or misuse.
- Should I agree to work and cancel the agreement, (with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend without a reasonable explanation, “no show”), the company reserves the right to deduct an amount not less than £30 pounds or up to maximum equal to that which I would have earned had I worked the agreed shift.
- Should I confirm to attend any training course(s) and I fail to attend, (without reasonable explanation, “no show”) course cost to be recovered by the company.
- Please Note that in cases where a reasonable explanation may be provided, the company reserves the right, (where practical), to request supporting evidence to verify the explanation given.
